The Largest Bursary Package yet is Awarded to a Candidate from the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality

EST Sourcing is proud to have placed 5 students from the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, two of which are living with disabilities. It has been EST Sourcing and MaxProf’s aim to change the lives of disadvantaged youth, therefore having made a total investment of approximately R200 000 on bursaries in our home city is a major highlight for the organisation.

Two students were assisted to complete their Bachelors in Law and one Diploma each in Human Resources and Supply Chain Management, respectively. To commemorate Youth Day 2022, we awarded our largest bursary package yet. Mr. Xaidon Witbooi from the City of Tshwane received funding in excess of R80 000 to study Animal Farming Production at a specialised training institution, where he will be exposed to different methods of farming and care for animals. Working against all odds, Xaidon, a person living with a disability, was willing to work until he had saved enough for his studies. It is not often that one comes across an individual that is so passionate and driven about being part of an industry that affects and sustains all of us, it was only apt to make such an investment.

Much appreciation was expressed by the Divisional Head, Ms. Shanaaz Majiet, from the Municipality, “Thank you so very much for your tremendous investment in our students. We are grateful for your generosity and big hearts. Thank you for making a profound impact in the lives of these students, their families and the community. Your efforts truly unlock transformation.”
