Thirteen Modimolle Local Municipality Students Receive Tertiary Registration Fees

The town of Nylstroom was renamed in 2002 by the South African government to Modimolle, meaning “God has eaten.” It is a medium-sized town that primarily focuses on agriculture, farming, wildlife, and tourism. The town is situated near the southern edge of the Waterberg mountainous Massif in the Limpopo province.

MaxProf continues to pursue its goal of placing South African youth on the map by awarding a total of R75,500.00 to thirteen deserving students who needed assistance with registration fees for their tertiary studies.

During his speech, Mayor Sechele Sebolai expressed deep gratitude towards MaxProf for their significant contributions. He particularly highlighted their proactive approach in reaching out to the municipality to offer assistance. The Mayor was visibly moved, stating that he was “running out of words” to express his appreciation. He emphasized the positive impact of their efforts in redirecting Modimolle students away from harmful activities and towards fulfilling their future aspirations, thus contributing to the improvement of Modimolle LM’s socio-economic landscape.

In a heartfelt message to the students, he urged them to resist negative peer pressure and remain true to themselves. He emphasized the importance of continuing their education and encouraged them to return to the municipality after completing their studies to contribute to job creation for others in their community.

Heartfelt appreciation poured in from all thirteen students, extending their blessings to the companies and all involved parties. They emphasized that what might appear as a simple registration fee was, in fact, a gateway to a year of education.
