Youth Transformation in Dikgatlong Local Municipality

On February 8, 2024, MaxProf and EST-Sourcing, accompanied by the two bursary candidates, Piet Melk and John Phahlane, visited the Mayor’s office. There, Executive Mayor Cllr. Joyce Tshwanagae handed over bursary award letters and a laptop worth R56,788. These two students believed that this day marked the start of a period of change in their lives.

Piet Melk conveyed gratitude on behalf of both him and John, thanking MaxProf for eliminating the financial barriers that hindered their progress. These students have pledged their dedication to advancing their careers. Mayor Joyce Tshwanagae commended MaxProf and EST-Sourcing for their efforts within the municipality, noting their dedication to the welfare of local residents and their encouragement of student advancement.

Unaware of MaxProf’s extensive efforts, the mayor urged them to expand their initiative to other regions. Little did the mayor know, that MaxProf had already provided bursaries totalling R600,000 across eight municipalities, benefiting 53 students so far this year, not to mention the annual expenditure of R1.2 million on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
