Maxprof Continues to Support the City Of Matlosana Youth With Bursaries For The Third Consecutive Year

Drawing inspiration from Malcolm X’s quote, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today,” MaxProf remains committed to transforming the lives of students through its Bursary program.

On November 29, 2023, EST Sourcing fulfilled its regular duties by awarding bursaries to five deserving students in Klerksdorp, totalling R71,500. The recipients and their respective fields of study are as follows:

  1. Rethabile Mokemane – Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accountancy
  2. Vuyani Donga – Bachelor of Commerce in Management Sciences with Business Management
  3. Oratile Seoma – Public Management N4
  4. Mpho Velaphi – National Certificate N3 in Electrical Engineering Studies
  5. Thuto Letseka – National Certificate N1 in Bricklaying

During the event, Renusha Ramdas, Director of EST Sourcing, commended Thuto Letseka for challenging societal norms by pursuing a Bricklaying course. She also acknowledged MaxProf for their consistent contribution of R246,000 over the last three years towards the youth of the City of Matlosana Local Municipality.

In the spirit of the 16 days of activism, Renusha encouraged the students to be catalysts for the change needed in the country, stating alarming statistics on gender-based violence. Vuyani, one of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to EST Sourcing and MaxProf for alleviating financial burdens and providing hope. She pledged to assist others with similar needs after completing her qualification.

Vuyani’s father echoed his appreciation, thanking God for the support from EST Sourcing and MaxProf, emphasizing that they restore hope in a world where caring individuals are far and few.

In the absence of the mayor, Cllr Maseko, a member of the mayoral committee, congratulated the recipients and urged them to stay focused, represent the City of Matlosana Local Municipality, and remember that education is the key to success. In her closing remarks, she expressed gratitude to MaxProf and EST Sourcing for their outstanding contributions to the municipality.
