MaxProf and EST Sourcing planting seeds of growth and generosity by funding registration fees within the Modimolle- Mookgophong local Municipality.

On 10 February 2026, MaxProf and EST-Sourcing, in partnership with the Modimolle-Mookgophong Local Municipality, awarded eight bursaries totalling R24000 to deserving students. The ceremony took place at the Ruth First Memorial Library. The bursaries will assist students with registration fees as they pursue qualifications in Management Studies and Engineering at the Harvard Critical Skills Academy. These awards form part of MaxProf’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, reflecting our dedication to empowering communities and creating opportunities that extend beyond compliance and governance.

EST-Sourcing CEO, Renusha Ramdas, empowered the students with these words: “As you go out there to fill your brain with knowledge, please remember to fill your hearts with compassion and give back to your community. In Albert Einstein’s words, ‘We free ourselves, by widening our circle of compassion.’”

One of the highlights of the day was a heartfelt testimonial from Nelson Mothoa, a resident of Mookgophong Municipality and bursary recipient for three consecutive years. He shared how the funding has consistently covered his registration fees since 2024 and praised EST-Sourcing for following up on students’ progress and academic results. “What MaxProf and EST Sourcing are doing is good because many families cannot afford registration fees”, he reiterated. On behalf of all recipients, we promise to study hard, build businesses, and one day fund other learners in need. We will pay the good deed forward”, he said.

Such testimonies remind us why we do what we do. By investing in young people, we are not only supporting their education but also planting seeds of growth and generosity that will benefit communities for years to come. Our greatest hope is that more recipients will work hard, achieve their goals, and give back, ensuring that the cycle of opportunity continues and the economy moves forward.

The Mayor of Modimolle-Mookgophong Local Municipality, Cllr Annah Mboweni, announced that 35 students from underprivileged backgrounds were recipients of bursaries awarded in the municipality. She expressed gratitude to MaxProf and EST Sourcing for investing in the education of local youth. She added “To the students, use this opportunity wisely, work hard and stay focused. Education is one powerful tool to change your life and uplift those around you. Never forget where you come from.”
