On 22 January, we celebrated a remarkable partnership between Maximum Profit Recovery (MaxProf), EST Sourcing, and the Msukaligwa Local Municipality by providing R50,000.00 in vital registration fee assistance. This collaboration is a testament to our shared commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community. This crucial support is designed to help the exceptional Matric Class of 2025 kickstart their dreams and transition seamlessly into higher learning.
Removing Barriers, Building Futures
These collaborations allow us to deliver practical support exactly where it is needed most. We believe that education is the ultimate catalyst for growth; by removing initial financial barriers, we are not just funding students, we are building a more inclusive and sustainable future for the next generation.
Exciting times are ahead for our ambitious students as they embark on their journeys to South Africa’s top institutions. Here’s where they’re headed:
- Malibongwe Khumalo will be making his mark at the University of the Western Cape, diving into the world of BCom Financial Accounting.
- Lwandiswa Mkhwanazi is set to unleash her potential at the Durban University of Technology, pursuing a Diploma in Management Sciences.
- Loyiso Sidu is taking a big step at the University of Pretoria, where he will focus on his BSC in Actuarial and Financial studies.
- Kwanele Nkosi is gearing up for an exciting journey at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in a Diploma in Operations Management.
- Last but not least, Anita Thabethe will also be at the University of Johannesburg, where she’ll explore the dynamic field of Logistics Management through her Diploma studies.
A Message from the Mayor: “The Ball is in Your Hands”
The Honourable Mayor, Cllr. Alderwoman Mapulane Precious Nkosi, addressed the recipients with a stirring call to action, reminding them that the Msukaligwa community is rooting for their success. She encouraged them to remain focused on their studies, especially as they navigate the independence of university life without parental supervision.
“This is the beginning of your lives and your future, and the ball is in your hands,” Mayor stated. “Go on and be something great when you come back from the university.”
A Growing Partnership for Local Impact
The Mayor extended her heartfelt thanks to MaxProf and EST Sourcing for their dedication to the municipality’s learners. She noted that the assistance offered to these students has not gone unnoticed and expressed a strong vision for the future of the program.
“We hope that next year the number of learners we are able to assist will increase through this collaboration,” she added, highlighting the long-term commitment to local academic excellence.
Investing in the Leaders of Tomorrow
By bridging the gap between high school graduation and university enrolment, this partnership ensures that the Msukaligwa local municipality’s brightest minds have the foundation they need to succeed. As these future leaders depart for their respective campuses, they carry with them the support of their municipality and the tools to change their lives forever.
