MaxProf and EST Sourcing Bid Farewell to the 2021 Audit Interns

EST Sourcing is proud to have been part of Denis Ndlovu and Regina Masethe’s journey to their professional success. Our two audit interns were able to participate in a 6-month internship programme with Maximum Profit Recovery (Pty) Ltd (MaxProf) and completed their Higher Certificate in Making the Transition as a Graduate/School Leaver with Connect The Dots Training and Consulting CC. For the duration of the programme, the interns learnt basic technical skills such as printing, scanning, filing and Microsoft Office Suite. Being exposed to a dynamic and fast-paced office setting, the interns were equipped with transferable skills that one needs to perform responsibilities in any profession they wish to pursue, such as working in a team, being adaptable to change and environments, and time-management skills. The interns were also given the opportunity to go on-site, with their allocated team, to observe, assimilate the audit process and assist the auditors with the required documentation to complete an audit. Visiting clients and being part of on-site audits meant that the interns could experience different regions of our beautiful country. It is one thing to learn theoretically or even practically, however as Harvey Lloyd said, “Travel is like an endless university. You never stop learning.” To attain their Higher Certificate in Making the Transition as a Graduate/ School Leaver to the Workplace, the interns participated in 3 study programmes that led to a full qualification. Various modules were included in this programme which are inclusive but not limited to the following: Workplace and Business Ethics, Business Writing Skills, and Management of Administration Records, Problem Solving, Customer Service, Communication Skills, Self and Time Management.

Upon completion of the programme, the interns were celebrated by a mini graduation ceremony where all relevant parties were present; MaxProf, Connect The Dots, EST Sourcing and most importantly the interns. They were presented their certificates of completion and words of encouragement by Ms. Renusha Ramdas and Ms. Noorene Sallie. After working with Connect The Dots during the past six months on virtual platforms, MaxProf and EST Sourcing finally met the ladies from Connect The Dots. Gifts were exchanged as a token of appreciation for the partnership created. Connect The Dots brought along cupcakes and treats to sweeten the occasion.

Gifts were presented to both interns by all parties for their hard work and dedication. We are so very proud of our interns and wish them great success in their professional career.
