MaxProf Attends the PRISA & NCPD Women in Power Event

On 19 August 2025, MaxProf proudly attended the Women in Power event hosted by the Public Relations Institute of South Africa (PRISA) and the National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD). Held at the Silverstar Hotel in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, this event was a vibrant and inspiring gathering that celebrated self-leadership, advocacy, and the transformative power of women in leadership. Under the theme ‘She Leads, We Rise’, the event brought together leaders, change-makers, and visionaries committed to shaping a more inclusive and equitable future.

For over 85 years, the NCPD has been a steadfast advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities in South Africa. It has championed equity, representation, and systemic transformation. Their involvement reminded us that true leadership is not only about influence, but also about accessibility, dignity, and empowerment for all. MaxProf is proud to align with organisations that champion systemic transformation and elevate voices that have long been underrepresented.

The conversations throughout the day were rich with insight and inspiration. Women from diverse industries shared stories of resilience, vision, and impact, demonstrating how leadership rooted in authenticity can drive meaningful change. Topics explored included: strategic communication, inclusivity in action, organisational change, and the impact of digitisation & AI. As we navigate a world increasingly shaped by digitisation and AI, the event reminded us that authentic voices remain our most powerful tools.

“She Leads, We Rise” is more than a theme, it is a call to action. It’s about recognising transformational female leaders, who lead with courage and intellect, paving the way for others to rise. As we reflect on the event, we carry forward not just inspiration, but a renewed sense of responsibility. MaxProf is proud to stand alongside these leaders, committed to developing a future where leadership is inclusive and voices are heard.
