MaxProf proudly participated in the SALGA Northern Cape Provincial Members Assembly, held in Upington from 22 to 23 September 2025. The two-day event brought together municipal leaders, strategic partners, and community stakeholders to explore the theme of “Connected Heritage and Empowered Communities.”
A highlight of the programme was the keynote address delivered by Prof Debra Meyer, Vice Chancellor Designate of Sol Plaatje University, whose insights on heritage and empowerment resonated deeply with the Assembly’s purpose. Her message reinforced the importance of cultural connection in building resilient, inclusive communities.
As firm believers in community empowerment, MaxProf showcased its commitment through our ongoing CSR initiatives. In partnership with EST-Sourcing and various municipalities, we have actively contributed to youth education and development across the province.
The Assembly concluded with powerful reflections from Hon. Dawid C. Gertze, Kharas Region Representative, who spoke on “Strengths in Connected Communities for Societal Development,” and Mr. George H. Mahlangu from the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities, who addressed “The Value of Heritage in Building Resilient Communities Within a Modern-Day Context.”
Northern Cape’s heritage and community development were well represented throughout the forum. As the programme drew to a close, MaxProf reflected with pride on the meaningful engagements and reaffirmed our commitment to returning and making a lasting difference in the communities we serve within this province.
