Between 5–8 October, MaxProf proudly participated in three concurrent SALGA Provincial Members’ Assemblies across South Africa: in the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, and Mpumalanga. These forums continue to be vital spaces for municipal leaders to engage, collaborate, and explore new approaches to service delivery and financial sustainability.
Recognising the strategic importance of each province, MaxProf deployed dedicated teams to ensure a strong presence at all three events. Our goal was clear: to build brand awareness, network with key stakeholders, and share our specialised solutions for creating alternative revenue streams in the local government space.
Leadership Presence Across Provinces
- In Mpumalanga, our Director Andiswa Matutu CA(SA) attended the PMA in Secunda, engaging with municipal officials on practical strategies for unlocking financial efficiencies.
- At the Eastern Cape PMA, held at the scenic Wild Coast Resort near the KZN border, our team was led by Director Heinrich Guse, Audit Manager Hansie Horn, Regional Manager Cedric Mataka, and our CEO , who also joined the CIGFARO conference in Durban on the 7th of October.
- Simultaneously, our Western Cape team ensured MaxProf’s visibility and participation in discussions around municipal innovation and leadership.
SALGA: A Strategic Partner for Change
SALGA continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of local governance. As a strategic partner, SALGA creates platforms that enable public-private sector collaboration, encouraging innovation and accountability in municipal operations. These assemblies are more than annual events, they are catalysts for meaningful change, where ideas are exchanged, partnerships are formed, and solutions are mobilised.
MaxProf values this partnership and remains committed to contributing to SALGA’s mission of strengthening local government through practical, scalable financial strategies.
A Logistical Challenge, A Strategic Win
Managing three PMAs in different provinces over the same week was no small feat. It required careful coordination, resource planning, and a shared commitment across our teams. We are deeply grateful to our staff who stepped up to support this effort, ensuring that MaxProf remained visible, engaged, and impactful throughout the country.
